So the whole upshot is that they don’t care what the store sells, as long as it meets a certain revenue minimum? I guess with space being such a premium, the revenue metric is the simplest for selecting stores that travellers want to visit, but it sure is impersonal.
Assuming that what I said is the real reason, and that there was no “ick” factor in the decision, then I can live with it. It sucks for the people wanting to open the store, I guess, but airports are the only malls where there isn’t enough space for all who want to sell their stuff there.
