Yes, and the point I was trying to get across was that women shouldn’t let men influence them so much that they do harm to their bodies just to appease the males. Again, sorry if that got messed up in translation.
EDIT: I get that this is a long road to travel since women have been dealing with this BS since…well…ever. But hopefully we can continue working on making equality a real thing amongst all humans.
Well, then we need to not live in a patriarchal society. Because as long as men are the ones who hold the primary power in our society, women are going to continue to do what we have to do to get along.
Happens to the best of us… it’s an imperfect medium of communication.
Amen. That’s why I was supporting Harris to replace 45. We need more female leadership since they seem to be the common sense ones. Well, at least my wife. My 8 and 12 daughters don’t have a bit of common sense or patience. Smart as hell, though. Bad combination.
Frankly, it came off as both ageist and sexist, and that’s not usually your style.
I don’t particularly care for plastic surgery either, but at the same time I know that’s just my personal preference, and I care much more about each individual maintaining their agency and control over their own bodies.
Then give me a fucking society where how attractive (and fit) I am doesn’t influence my prospects for work, life, and how I am treated by others every goddamed day or STFU about it when I try to optimize my chances by looking as good as I can.
I’ll opt to STFU. It appears I’m out of my realm. I’m a white male who’s just trying to help even things out for women and minorities. Tryin’ my best here and constructive guidance is always appreciated.
