I just learned that store-bought eggnog is so ridiculously thick because it’s made that way in order to end up at the right consistency after you add alcohol. And here I always thinned it with milk, because who can drink it so thick? I never really understood that it’s intended as a mixer. I thought alcohol was something people added because they felt compelled to have alcohol, and they didn’t care if they ruined the delicious flavor of it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, as they say: Don’t drink and time-travel.
