Coming Soon: Advertising in your dreams. (I think this was a plot point in an old sci-fi film but I can’t remember which one)
And would be co-opted immediately by Zuckerberg and his ilk as an advertising platform.
[I owe a dream Coke to @dwall.]
I don’t trust any fucker that wants to put words and thoughts into my head.
Adverts on billboards, newspapers, radio, television, streaming, on apps, between apps, podcasts, before movies, in movies, between shows, during shows…
FUCK OFF
The inescapable horrors of advertised capitalism and politics already infest my dreams too often, thanks.

According to Ars Technica, Remmyo is a “language” created specifically for use while lucid dreaming. It utilizes facial muscle movements and can be learned while awake.
So…Dreamer 1 is sent a facial muscle movement “word” via earbuds…translates it into a facial twitch? & somehow sends it back to the server? which then repeats the word to Dreamer 2…again via earbud??..& then Dreamer 2 confirms upon awakening?
So many question marks for me…
Stop making me feel old, Parker!
Spider-Man : Hey guys, you ever see that really old movie, Empire Strikes Back?
War Machine : Jesus, Tony, how old is this guy?

Didn’t Philip K. Dick write about this in his short story, “Do Androids Dream of Ozempic Ads?”
In PKD’s novel Galactic Pot-Healer the government inserts propaganda messages into dreams.
Lucid dreaming company REMspace claims that they have enabled two individuals in separate locations to transmit a simple message to one another while lucid dreaming.
The Firesign Theatre album “Give Me Immortality or Give Me Death” opens with an advertisement for a mattress store being delivered into people’s dreams. The store is called “Unconscious Village” lol.
Jokes on them. I have aphantasia and my dreams have no images.
