The commander said the drone was completing routine operations in international airspace when the Russian aircraft conducted the unsafe and unprofessional behavior.
“In fact, this unsafe and unprofessional act by the Russians nearly caused both aircraft to crash,” Hecker said.
The Russian aircraft acted recklessly, pouring fuel over the MQ-9 before eventually hitting its propeller, EUCOM said.
“Several times before the collision, the Su-27s dumped fuel on and flew in front of the MQ-9 in a reckless, environmentally unsound and unprofessional manner,” EUCOM said.

Come on, guys! Nobody wants this! We’re supposed to be fucking professionals! – Mr Pink.

Allegations of spying.

Are we calling people “illegal” here now?

An “illegal” is a spy who doesn’t have official cover as a diplomat or other representative of their country.

From the above: “suspected”, “alleged”, “suspected”, “possibly”, “funny accent”.

It’s the same old racist bullshit in reality. Call a spy a spy, or a suspected spy, don’t call an immigrant an “illegal”.

Don’t you think that people working abroad, as researchers, business people, managers, aren’t also US spies? Cos I’ve met some. Not to mention the fact that this place is absofuckinglutely crawling with British spies. Are they all illegals? Because I’ve never heard anyone call them that.

“Illegal” is the Soviet/Russian term for a spy (one of their own) under non-official cover. It has nothing to do with “illegal immigrants”.

If they are spies then yes, they are “illegals” in Soviet terms or spies under “non-official cover” in American terms.

The term outlasted the Soviets too.
