What’s the best way to give to the DAPL protests at Standing Rock?
There seem to be a half-dozen or more funds, some associated with the various camps, and even multiple ones for legal defense funds.
Does anyone have solid info on the best way to donate? Or is it best to spread it around?
I heard from someone who just came back from Standing Rock that the standingrock.org one is good, don’t know about the others.
Another good one: Veterans for Standing Rock.
They are planning on arriving with up to 2000 vets on December 5th, which is coincedentally the same day that the Army Corps of Engineers has said that they’re going to “shut down” the Oceti Sakowin camp. (Tribal leader response to that here).
