The heavy reliance on Seth MacFarlane and Seth Green’s parodies homages to the movie feel like a cheat. I didn’t care for the special edition shots either, but I was happy to see the original cantina patrons restored.
Missing was one of my favorite acts from the original Gong Show: a comic who used a floppy hat, a pair of sunglasses, and a hair pick as part of a Darth Vader impression.
The theme is pretty much a copy of this:
And anything Vader related came from this:
If you eliminated the family guy stuff, tethered be almost nothing left.

For me, Holst’s Planets (especially Mars) will allways be the soundtrack of Quatermass II.
