Aha! So the secret message is… cvcnvvnc!

A friend of mine used to joke that, if you had precise enough equipment, you could take any message, convert it into a very long number, insert a decimal point in front of that number, and encode the whole thing as a very precise notch on a stick carved that percentage of the way along the stick.

Whenever I assassinate someone the fake fingerprints I plant when decoded read ‘Jason Bourne was here!’

The hardcore spy hides the message by changing his own fingerprint with a laser.

So my fingerprints contain the text of every book written and ever will be written, I just need to try different keys.
