I personally enjoyed The Question, although I think the direction they took the character after Ditko was an improvement.

I loved Shade, the Changing Man as a vehicle for Ditko’s trippy visuals. Even if he didn’t ask for it, I’m glad he got credit for his other huge co-creations before he passed away.

If I remember correctly he was the one that got Stan Lee to ditch his original ideas for Spider-man’s outfit and tools. Specifically, Lee was supposedly wanting Spider-man to use a web gun like how Batman has his grappling hook/gun. Ditko didn’t like the idea and went with the web shooters instead.
