That’s a brilliant illustration.

It nails it. A classic example of a film needing to be picked up by the score would be The Magnificant Seven (1960). Even a couple of scenes of slow-riding cowboys got some of Elmer Bernstein’s upbeat, rousing music. Just to keep things moving, I guess!
