That’s sad news indeed, especially given the death of Maya Angelou too.

I’m glad she lived long enough to see how much of an impact she and her fellow patrons had. We still have a long way to go, but it’s extraordinary to think how far we’ve come since Stonewall.

I had never heard of this woman until today. Another example of how Stonewall and what came after was redefined to be about gay men, excluding lesbians and transpeople?
