I would not bet the farm on that.
Contemporary delivery systems can reach any part of the planet, and it is not a big stretch to expand from MAD to ‘when we go, everybody goes’.
Totally possible, but there are targets all around me here in NC, and there are far less in NZ. There are also prevailing winds that may drag fallout over us here. In the Southern Hemisphere, there will hopefully be less.
I’m just speculatin’ 'bout a hypothesis here.
