People who are further to the left than the mainstream have a love/hate relationship with liberals. One person I read described the problem as
Liberals are the people who take the credit when things go well, but are nowhere to be seen when they go bad
There have been recent events where the mainstream British unions have taken credit for work done by popup unions, SolFed or the IWW. The reason that they got involved in the first place was because the mainstream unions wouldn’t get involved.
To be fair, it’s not just liberals who do this, the SWP are masters at it.

I’d humbly suggest that plenty of rich men are constantly fawned upon in our culture, even by those struggling, so I don’t think it’s just her privilege that’s pissing people off. I don’t think that men like Judd Apatow or Seth Rogan get anywhere near the same shit that she does or that other mouthy broads deal with on a regular basis - Leslie Jones or Amy Schumer, for example. I’m all about the marxist analysis, but let’s not try and boil it all down to economics, where clearly other factors might be at play.

Yeah, I get ya… intersectionality is a tough nut to crack, given how it attempts to take all sorts of things into account. Pretty much we’re going to miss something, we’re not going to find A single cause.
