When I see one of these blur-rectangles, I want to see the house. On my commute, I zip by what looks like a cute old-fashioned residential street. I checked it out on Google street view and there was one house blurred out. Naturally I had to drive by to see that one house. Turned out not that interesting, but the blur definitely piqued my curiosity.
