I guess that, with a looped roll, it would be possible to play some Rave Anthems. You’d just need to turn the little crank really fast to get the BPM high enough.

I came so close to grabbing one of these for christmas.
For those interested - the notes are mostly chromatic, with the bottom few being chord roots. There are two major variants - brass gears should last longer, but generally make more noise as they do their thing - plastic gears might have a shorter life but are quieter in operation. Part of me wants to get a brass set and try taking it apart to polish and cover with graphite dust.
