Tandy was the original company, in leatherwork dating to the 1920s

Well aware of the brand origin as are probably most computer oriented folk of my age group. Even the brand is resurrected for sale in Radio Shack shops, it has been defunct for so long that it pretty well does qualify as a ghost brand.
