One of the problems with our duopoly system is that when of the parties uses a cheating tool because it’s the only way it can stay politically relevant, the other party also starts using it – sometimes resulting in an own goal.

We need to get democratic control of both houses and ram through some serious voter protection legislation, including reforms to mitigate gerrymandering.
