The last thing a city needs is clueless infrastructure vigilantes going around “fixing” things because they built a shed once so they think they know how.
Roads require special equipment, knowledge, and materials to fix properly. You know, those people we call “experts”? They exist for a reason. Roads are actually pretty complicated engineering.
What’s needed is for Public Works to be properly funded and well run. So in this case, complaining (to the government) is the exact right thing to do.
