Remember that period of 72 hours or so in 2011 when it looked like Twitter might turn out to be a powerful tool to help ordinary people organize against totalitarian regimes instead of just a means for the worst people on Earth to share whatever happened to be on their minds without any kind of filter?

Besides, these whiny hedge fundies should be champing at the bit for a little stock volatility! That’s how they increase the values of their stocks the fastest, after all; sell high, buy low, and all that requires prices to change.
