The Breathalyzer is a device cops use to measure a driver’s blood-alcohol level. Cellebrite has developed the “Textalyzer” device to help cops determine if a driver involved in a motor vehicle accident was using a smartphone while driving.
Under new legislation proposed in New York, drivers involved in accidents must submit their phone to roadside textalyzer testing to determine whether the driver was using a mobile phone ahead of a crash.
