Sounds more like a tablesaw.

I see my own death every morning as I put my pants on at the top of the stairs. I see myself at the bottom of the stairs with a broken neck and pants half on.

Ooh, that was disquieting and cool.

Curious if any here knows or has come across a resource/source that discusses the concept of Thanatopsis in more depth?

I know Bryant’s poem, but have to imagine it being discussed more in-depth (psychology or philosophy or the like, but distinct from Freud’s Thanatos and Eros).

Can anyone provide a citation, link, etc. (I did the Google thing FYI  )

Thanks in advance!
