Dammit, Bobby, why are you holding your cigarette like some kind of European Nazi?
And by Cory Doctorow in Little Brother.
Ha, I’ve watched this last weekend!
Not a lot of disguises in it, come to think of it… but fun to watch.
Good cast, the story works, and it’s a bit of a time capsule.
The handling of cutlery is not so cut (hah) and dried. I am a left-handed American. I use my left hand to eat, and my right hand to cut meat. No switching. When I am cooking, I take the kitchen knife or spoon in my left hand to slice and stir, usually. But the other day, I was writing in my notebook at brunch, so I used my right hand to eat and drink the meal. How would the spycatcher classify me? Would I be identified?
To be fair, I was wearing my favorite frock, a cute pair of kitten heels, and a rather impressive handlebar mustache.
One of my favorites. And at the end, he was wearing a rabbi disguise.
Another dead giveaway for Americans: Always wearing sunglasses.
Any given American doesn’t always wear sunglasses all the time, but if you see a group of people in Europe wearing sunglasses on a cloudy day, it’s a safe bet.
Ah! It’s been awhile since I watched it. Still. Disguise.
Walter Matthau as a rabbi would be awesome.
