@orenwolf the post doesn’t seem to be showing up… either here or on the front page.

I don’t get it. Who is Louis Maltby? I searched the name and didn’t come up with anyone who seemed relevant.

This feels like we’re only seeing one page of a 2-page comic?

Wow, you must be living in a parallel universe. You don’t know about the FAMOUS Louis Maltby?

Louis Earl Maltby
17 June 1902–17 July 1943 (Age 41)
Antigo, Langlade, Wisconsin, United States
When Louis Earl Maltby was born on 17 June 1902, in Antigo, Langlade, Wisconsin, United States, his father, John Ezra Maltby, was 42 and his mother, Anna Eugenia Foley, was 37. He married Margaret Eggink on 20 June 1926, in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. He died on 17 July 1943, in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, at the age of 41.

And here’s the kicker. Ruben Boiling NEVER EVEN MET HIM! HE’s NOT EVEN RELATED!
It’s just a name he pulled out of his imagination!
I DON’T EVEN KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE! I’M JUST TYPING IN ALL CAPS!

I clicked on the like, and then looked at some of the other strips on the site… Do you remember, back in the bay, when Ruben used to do strips about some loser called “Donald”? I’m sure that the character was big news for a while.
