Scallon has a lot of really interesting videos like this. I especially recommend the one he did on a massive pipe organ.
I never knew there were dots on fretboards or tensioning rods or a lot of other things about guitars till I watched that.

That was good. That early part of the guitar’s history I was not familiar with.
He didn’t get into the 20th century developments, basically the quest for volume when playing with a band that led to Orville Gibson inventing the carved arch-top guitar, also the Dopera brothers invention of the resonator guitar (and ultimately the electric guitar, but that part of history is common knowledge among guitarists I think.)
