Yeah… That would definitely be against the spirit of my project. As you suspected, the point is working to come up with the words. Sometimes the work is passive, sometimes the work is active. It happens almost every day, I hear/see a potential cognate, then I check, if it is in both dictionaries then I add it to my list, if it is not (or if it is already on the list), then I move on. As I said earlier, sometimes I randomly browse the dictionaries looking for candidates (but not while playing Wordle), learning new words as I go along; I see that as a valid way to find new candidates.
