“I Care a Lot” was fun, especially when I stated thinking of it as a critique of capitalism and girlboss feminism. I sometimes read reviews after watching something
thought provoking, and this one aligned best with my interpretation.

Everything about this 2019 Russian historical drama – direction, acting, plot, cinematography, sets – is extraordinary. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve cared so much about film main characters.
