Never mind the toast - have you recently smelled something that could best be described as fudge when there is no fudge?
I, and plenty of medievalist friends, are looking forward to the Green Knight. It probably won’t be shown in cinemas here (they even pulled it from the UK!) so it will be a small screen experience. But I’ve read a few good reviews by medievalists the last few days. The Green Knight has always been one of the darkest and weirdest of the Arthurian materials and it seems the movie stays close to that, providing an impressionistic experience more than anything.
Well, to be fair, a good portion of the story involving the stars of Titanic was fictional, so one might not want that part spoiled.
Now that Jodie Whitaker announced she’s leaving after a 3rd season, any favorite picks for the next one?
Mine are: Eva Green, John Boyega, Hayley Atwell, Idris Elba, or Alan Cumming.
Not ones likely to take the job, just people i want to see in the role.
I might be available.
Air Bud!
Well okay, one of his descendants.
First film I caught in the cinema tonight. What a ride! Hope you enjoy it… aaaand would love to talk shop some time.
I was VERY surprised to learn that Darth Vader was Jack’s father.
Bah, no Ed Wood Jr,
A wonderful review of a movie that I’d really like to see.
Thanks for:
And no Dead Man!
