Some sort of movie version of Black Books?
I loved Petite Maman but I would suggest watching it (right now! Straight away! You have nothing better to do and it’s very short by modern standards) before reading that article.
This looks like it could be fun.

I heard an advert for this on the radio where a jolly Colin Firth merrily said “We’re going to play a trick on Hitler!” and laughed and, yeah, I shouted “Fuck Off!!” at the radio.
Upper class wartime japery isn’t really my thing.
They didn’t use the “I may vomit” line for the radio ad? Shame.

They really did make it sound like a cheeky sitcom.
Going by the review that’s not doing the film any justice, really.
Eh, I’ll watch it, and then I know what’s what.
For those who don’t know what this is about, historically:
I had thought the body was that of a drowned sailor from HMS Dasher. Turns out it was a homeless civilian who died from eating poisoned bait. Yowza.
I can´t wait for their next movie.
