It sure seemed to be primarily a warning for (“anti Alcool”) temperance.

I was confused about that, too. he wasn’t smoking hash nor slinging hash (i.e. a short-order-cook) since he was in a bar, but I guess it extended to all waitrons in that day.

Need to prepend a recommendation from the American Petroleum Institute, maybe. I don’t see improving it to the butterfly elephant standard by following the instructions of what to drink and when, much.
