Empathy is just a knack for intuitively modeling your target’s stimulus responses, right? Much more efficient than focus groups and trial and error if you are skilled in the art.

And they use those skills to convince others to buy things they don’t need and to vote for abusive monsters, all so they can afford a Lexus?
