Yep, because these are our closest living relatives and we’re not one hair better than they are. This might as well have been a documentary about an african tribe hunting chimps for “bush meat.” A lot of uncomfortable truth in there.
Well, black colobus are bush meat. Even that probably adds another layer of awkwardness to the scene: one species’ taboo food is anothers afternoon protein snack.
