I was thinking of the opposite side of the equation - the popular consensus on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. But that’s a good point, too.

Perversely, I kinda love watching it on TV more than on recorded media. “This is what happens when you meet a stranger in the Alps” cracks me up every time.
(Weird thing just happened. I can’t <3 this comment at the moment. I get the following:
Do not bother with Saw movies unless you can suspend disbelief that people “trapped” in a building you can see through are “forced” to play along. Seriously, you can see sunlight through the walls. I have as much empathy for the victims as I did for those in Blair Witch. You cross the same river 4 times instead of following it back to your car, because, yeah, you parked next to it, then you kinda probably should movie die.
