The Myers-Briggs personality test deemed expensive and silly

Have you taken the Meyers Briggs?
Yeah, I’m an F.U.C.K., you?

I love this one. My response if I’m feeling generous is, “you’re an idiot.” And if I’m feeling spunky, it’s “your an idiot.”

What’s yours?

I just tell that it’s called “projective identification” and that it is a major symptom of psychosis so they’ll know never to do it again, and I’ll add a gif

I think that’s called giving the concept an “ideational representation” ( a name) so that by having a name the emotion is now an object that can be perceived at a conscious level by the ego, and so by giving it a name it has been yanked from the fringes of consciousness into the realm of the conscious, and that which has been “seen” cannot be unseen (for at least a couple minutes).

What’s the saying? A liberal may annoy you, waste your time, or make you angry, but the conservative thinks he should get a medal for killing you.

I’m an INTJ Meyers Briggs, but on the Five Factor test I am extremely balanced. The outliers were that on “emotional vulnerability” I scored 11 out of 100 and my overall score for “Neuroticism” was two (this was before I’d read a lot of psychology).

Oh my lord. I once had to go to a thing about the enneagram where a guy brought a circular mirror he had drawn the nine-pointed star, explaining that he had done it to remind himself about the different kinds of people when he looked at himself. I felt like I was being indoctrinated into a cult. (That’s just how a 1 would feel)

I’m currently being forced to do this “management style” thing (PSCI, never heard of it before now) that seems like utter nonsense. Like the categories just all blend together.

You just made the baby jesus weep on the back of his unicorn.

I see what you’re trying to do and I am not here to play games, bub. Put the crystals away. They don’t work on me. Want to arm wrestle? HURRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrr.

Wouldn’t the primary difference be that a cult holds some form of social stigma? I mean, there’s already shunning…
