The Ongoing Gallery of Trump-Inspired Assholes

I’ve been on a missile range there and have stood next to the dumpster bins of spent shells recovered. There’s a photo of me there somewhere. We lived in Alamogordo in the late 60’s because my father flew F4s out of Holloman AFB for a time. I just barely remember rattlesnakes washing out from the mountains after rain storms.

You’d think that anyone crashing the gates of a heavily guarded AFB in the middle of a desert would have a pretty good idea that they may not be coming home after.

God she looks worn out. I wonder if the stress of performing life as a relentless asshole and trash human being without an ounce of empathy for literally anyone is catching up with her?

Ha! Who am I trying to kid!?

“Carnahan leaves as chair of the party amid allegations that she created a toxic workplace environment, one that blurred personal and professional lines, ignored concerns about sexual harassment and retaliated against employees who didn’t fall in line.”

"The party’s 15-member executive board voted 8-7 to give Carnahan a severance of three months salary, roughly $38,000, to leave her role. "

“Carnahan “ruled by grudges, retaliation, and intimidation” in the party, aiding candidates she preferred and lashing out against those who spoke out against her.”

Stay classy Minnesota.

had been a staunch opponent of vaccine and mask requirements

I mean, it kind of sounds like he won that fight, then. What did he think he was fighting for, if not the freedom to die from a preventable disease?

At least he died doing what he loved.

Dying.

As he drew his last, rattling breath, he knew that his work fighting vaccinations and basic public health measures had made this all possible, and he was at peace. /s

“ As Judd Legum writes at Popular Information , big outlets have almost exclusively turned to critics of the Afghanistan withdrawal in their coverage, and in virtually every case people who supported the invasion and occupation. A public relations specialist told Popular Information that TV bookers were straight-up refusing to have anyone on who supports the decision to withdraw. Indeed, as Eric Alterman writes at The American Prospect , many people now being given a platform to hector Biden about his supposed failures were not only directly involved in the catastrophically bungled occupation but were revealed in The Washington Post 's “Afghanistan Papers” to have blatantly lied to the public about how well it was going. The Post itself is not innocent either — a recent David Ignatius op-ed compared Biden’s team ending a war to the infamous Vietnam-era “best and the brightest” who started one.”
