My last one was $600. Insane for a technology developed by the government and acquired for nothing, and a med that costs roughly $0.10 per dose. Lack of meaningful competition, IMHO. I should not that there has been some broadening of the market, and I understand it’s down to about $200 now. Nope, just checked Epocrates, it’s $877.94 currently.

That’s insane. They are 30 for kids shots and 60 for adults here (though most people probably don’t pay for them as the max prescription cost per month for a family is €114, not free as it is for lots of countries). There are four brands and they all cost something similar.
So kartel behaviour most likely, as well as some shenanigans iirc with processes/delivery system making full generic costing a couple of bucks not being available.
