For those who don’t read Japanese, the tweet reads:
[Read now] Eraser is a transparent era developed by a long-established store over 5 years “Clear radar” that can be seen and erased https://t.co/uU3jhnBV6c # Kobe newspaper # Hyogo prefecture # eraser # clear radar pic. twitter.com/tcI287Evt2
Has @Flossaluzitarin branched out into advertising copy?
So… it’s like the Crystal Pepsi of erasers? Is there an advantage to having a clear eraser that I’m (hah) not seeing? Other than the neat factor, of course.
I’ve used many erasers in my life, and for me the gold standard is the gummy eraser, because it’s moldable. And when you are bored you can pull it apart and mold it into other shapes, like penguins. And make them fight.
(eta) I just realized that God is bored. That explains us. He took dust, molded us into shapes, and made us fight.
“Perfect stocking stuffer” seems questionable when I’d wager that a significant portion of the population will not touch a single pencil all next year.
I think many stocking stuffers will be unused. And this is so unnecessary that you can bet they don’t already have it.
But does it spark joy?
Also, I need a link to how to purchase this item. Even Seed’s website does not show the product.
I have to admit I really want one. That’s one sexy eraser.
Speaking as a Brit, I’ve used transparent rubbers for most of my life.
I think after the quotes it’s “characters can be seen and erased”.
Watching text get erased through the eraser sounds like something you need to be high to truly appreciate.
