My understanding is that Rosa Parks, as a long time committed activist, yeah, she had a certain strength in her beliefs that Claudette Colvin did not. I’m not saying she didn’t believe in the cause, just that she was not willing to put herself at risk in the way Rosa Parks was. There were certain people in the South who were extraordinarily brave. She was one of them. Also she made a good pancake.
