The only person I can imagine spending $200 a year on foil is Andy Warhol:
I went bankrupt and now my family lives in a shelter because we spent too damn much on foil & cling-wrap. Don’t for a second think this couldn’t happen to you!
Maybe they are including toilet paper and paper towels in that figure lol
Definitely. Could happen to anyone. Most people don’t know that aluminum foil hats have to be changed hourly. It’s very expensive.
Maaaaaybeee if they also included parchment paper, plastic bags, and semi reusable food containers, I could believe it.
But if they’re claiming $200 annually just for plastic wrap and aluminum foil, I want to know what “most US households” are doing with all their foil.
Like, I BBQ often and I’m pretty sure I use more foil than the average person, with all the wrapping, but even I don’t spend $200 a year.
It’s like two to three 150 sq ft Reynolds wrap boxes a year.
Plastic wrap, like once every other year.
Food $200
Data $150
Rent $800
Wraps and foil $3,600
Utility $150
someone who is good at the economy please help me budget this. my family is dying
