I think it was last year that the “Ignoble Prize” was awarded for a study that found that healthy males of virtually all mammalian species took about 21 seconds to empty their bladders.
Personally, I didn’t consider that “useless” knowledge, as it gives a simple way to judge whether an individual has urinary problems
