I did not know about these, I was aware of only more central European polka.
Although this also highlights my skepticism of what exactly is “white”. Is Spain significantly different ethnically from the rest of Europe? There are many different ethnicities there and over time the categories seem to change. For instance in the Americas where Hispanic Americans are recognized as representing a distinct ethnicity, while French Americans are not - despite there being huge populations.

Probably not as much these days, but historically: yes. The 8th to 15th centuries had an impact on the genetics of the place.
