(Le sigh…) When a child is determined to be bored, even this book won’t help even though it’s a great book.

There's no way the words "I'm bored" will be uttered in a house that has Unbored on hand.
Unfortunately my kids are teenagers.
I have found a way to combat “I’m bored”, though, that even works on teens. I say “great! I got at least a cord of firewood waiting to be cut and split out there, get your boots on!” and suddenly, magically, there’s very important homework that has to be done right now.
If your kids are pre-teen in attitude, buy books like this and treasure the time with them. It won’t last forever!
