Yep. And for others, cutting 20% off of the cost, or minimizing the number of different parts required are the important thing. Kind of like Zieroh said: know what your goal is, and design accordingly.

Never underestimate the power of simplicity of design. Simple is good.

Sure, horses for courses. It just weirds me out that BoingBoing seems to falling over itself looking for reasons why these suck completely.
