This may be right up my street. I have a few books that are just pictures of misc. stuff, but collected together so as to stimulate the brainball in exciting new ways. (A Visual Inventory by John Pawson is a good example, though sadly the images all have pompous captions they don’t need, but then the captions add up to an unintended Alan Partridge parody of an insufferable architect so that’s amusing in its own right).

The problem is, while good picture books are the only kind I’ll still buy in physical form, I also need to buy them from a physical bookshop because you have to interview these things in person. London was pretty well served for bookshops in 2019, but I’m not sure where things stand now.
