The ChargeHub X5 Elite is also equipped with Limitless Innovations’ own SmartSpeed technology. That allows the hub to instantly assess the power demands of each device, then serve up the optimum flow to get that tech back to full strength as fast as possible.
What this means is that the charger can’t actually supply full power to each of its four USB-A ports. Per the manufacturer’s web page, it’s limited to 4.4 amps total, which isn’t enough to quick-charge two iPads. The company name “Limitless” is not merited.
If you want to charge four devices at full speed, buy an Anker.
So supposedly it can output 40W but USB outputs 5x4.4A up to 2.4A per port… and that’s still only 22W at best. Where’s the other 18W? Then the USB-PD can only pass through ~22W? So confused.
