This works also for drab, dark, rainless afternoon in Portland, Oregon.
Personally, the rather off-key nature of her voice just doesn’t quite work for me. I’ll download the album and give it a few listens, see how it works given a bit of time.
My own choices include Phoebe Bridgers, The October Project and The Innocence Mission, just off the top of my head. I’m sure there’s plenty more to suit a melancholy state of mind.
