Worms don’t love the rain; they come to the surface trying to escape when it fills their tunnels.

Hmm. This “fascinating video” illustrates a concept that can be clearly stated in one sentence. Feeling underwhelmed here…

Some worm species may; some will just wait it out underground.

Some species certainly do love the rain- European nightcrawlers / lobworms mate on the surface and will only do this in damp weather.
