“I have a guitar strap. Why would I need another one?”

What if you don’t have a servant? Asking for a friend.

Just use one of the four remaining necks.

I don’t want to say it’s always the G string that breaks, but it’s always the G string.

(High E string is close second.)

Or just hit play on the tape deck and pretend…

Then you are BB King.

Obviously that’s his lucky guitar strap.

Ok, I wanted to comment on the OP that I was impressed. Now I am more impressed.

I don’t wanna sound condescending, but musicians? They don’t make them any more like this, do they?

What a high priest of the blues.
Actually both of them, but BB King is just unbelievable.

For anyone wondering, at 3:46, he replaces the string himself in the middle of the song without missing a beat. Incredible.

Everyone knows you get your next guitar from the ceiling.

Waiting for him to play a few bars of You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille. It was Farm Aid after all. I enjoyed that clip immensely.

Lovely… the before times.

I remember seeing John Hyatt in the “just a working band” phase,
a guy kept bringing him a tuned guitar. It was
a little disappointing.

The show was great though.
Sonny Landrith was incredible with the ghost notes.

I saw him once at a place that offered dinner.
The audience were in suits and dresses too.
