Continuing the discussion from Cute Wonder Woman lunchbox banned from school for being too violent:
For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the story were true, and this event happened at my kids’ former preschool. I won’t name it since, y’know, it’s a preschool, but they too had a very strong policy against superhero imagery in particular and “violent” characters in general. We received a note functionally identical to this one on the first day of school. Also the recent (past four years) management there began demonstrating a discouraging tendency to dig in their heels on the stupidest issues.
This is right in their wheelhouse.
