I disagree, it’s great by any standards. Just a solid film all around.

I think too many people saw the butchered and awful (well still pretty to look at) Warriors Of the Wind that got a USA release in the 80s.

That would explain that, I guess. The original cut is an excellent film. Miyazaki (in my view) is a far better film maker than Walt Disney ever was.

I simply meant that they would be the primary group who would know about the film. I don’t think it’s generally known by a mainstream audience.

Sure. And that’s a shame, actually. Pretty much the entire output of Miyazaki is worth viewing from the point of view of art.
