As with any server farm, planning permission for any AI facility should not be approved unless it has a surplus of sustainable power.

And sustainable electricity should be free to domestic users. They can be part of the solution of a problem then. Otherwise they are just destructive and useless.

And I mean sustainable power now, not effective altruism bullshit cold fusion in five years if you let us burn the sky to develop it as part of our AI. Because AI is the pixie dust cold fusion needs.
